About Emma Heffernan Care
Hello, I’m Emma.
I provide private home care and companionship across Lincolnshire, supporting people to live safely, comfortably and independently in the place they feel happiest — their own home.
My work is deeply personal to me. I believe care should feel calm, consistent and reassuring, not rushed or impersonal. Every person I support is treated with dignity, respect and genuine kindness.
My experience
I have professional experience supporting people with:
• Dementia and memory conditions
• End-of-life and palliative care
• Spinal cord injury and rehabilitation
• Long-term and complex health conditions
• Recovery and reablement at home
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care and I am trained in Mental Health First Aid.
For reassurance and safety I also hold:
• Enhanced DBS for adults and children
• Moving and handling training
• Full business and transport insurance (including FND cover)
Families often tell me the greatest comfort is knowing their loved one is supported by someone reliable, experienced and genuinely caring.
My approach to care
I specialise in one-to-one private support, which means visits are never rushed and care can be tailored to each individual’s routine, personality and preferences.
Support may include:
• Companionship and emotional support
• Help with daily routines and personal care
• Meal preparation and medication prompts
• Transport to appointments and outings
• Hospital discharge and recovery support
• Dementia and end-of-life care
My goal is always the same:
to help people feel safe, valued and supported at home, while giving families peace of mind.
A personal note
I understand how difficult it can feel to look for support for yourself or someone you love. Choosing the right person matters.
If you would like an informal chat about how I can help, I would love to hear from you.
In my spare time you’ll usually find me out walking, with family, or enjoying a quiet cup of tea.
